Role Overview:

Suncycle Renewable Energy/Juuce Energy is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Apprentice Electricians to join our team in New Jersey. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings while ensuring strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NJ Uniform Construction Code (UCC) amendments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and wire power distribution systems and lighting.

- Test circuit continuity and system compatibility using multimeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.

- Interpret technical diagrams and blueprints for wiring and equipment layout.

- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local municipal requirements.

- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and components.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Valid New Jersey Qualified Journeyman Electrician registration or Electrical Contractor license.

- High School Diploma/GED and completion of 576 classroom instruction hours.

- 4+ years (8,000 hours) of documented on-the-job experience preferred.

- Proficiency with hand/power tools, conduit benders, and cable testers; knowledge of 3-phase power is preferred.

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in confined spaces or on ladders/scaffolds.

- Valid NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record.

 

Additional Context:

- Experience with the NJ Prevailing Wage Act and Public Works Contractor Registration is preferred.

- Ability to work in varied outdoor climate conditions.

- Familiarity with 2026 NJ mandates for EV charger installations is a significant advantage.
