Position Summary:
We seek a talented Systems Administrator with a strong emphasis on Salesforce administration to join our team. The Systems Administrator (Salesforce Focus) will work with end users of our multiple integrated systems (Salesforce, ADP, DocuSign, Data Blend, Workato, etc) to solve daily problems and streamline processes using data and technology. This position will manage projects related to these technologies and serve as the primary point of contact for staff and vendors. Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Administration: Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, customization of objects, flows, reports, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations.
- System Management: Support other systems feeding data into Salesforce, including ADP and third-party applications, by being a technical resource that can interface with the department and the solution provider support and assist in resolving/improving these systems.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems such as ADP, Intacct, Docusign, Titan Forms, Survey Monkeys, Conga, Datablend, Workato, etc.. ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- User Support: Provide technical support to users of these systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance user experience through various channels (phone, email, chat)
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Training: Conduct "train the trainer" sessions to equip trainers with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver training to end-users and team members.
- Documentation: Develop and deliver comprehensive documentation for end-users and team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing business needs and learn new systems and technologies as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in Salesforce required.
- 1-3 years of experience with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Sales Cloud required.
- 1-3 years of nonprofit experience, directly working for a nonprofit or as a consultant/contractor strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of Service Desk Experience supporting end users.
- 1-3 years experience managing other systems integrating with Salesforce, such as Financial Systems, HRIS, etc., is a plus.
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification is required; additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce is required.
- Proficiency in ADP and other related systems is a plus. Strong understanding of system integration and data management.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency required.
- Project Management: Strong project management and project coordination skills.
- Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Flexibility: Quickly adapting to changing priorities and learning new systems.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and have a “can do” attitude.
