About us
Stracker Solar is an Ashland-based company that manufacture, sell, and install the Stracker, an elevated dual-axis solar panel platform that generates up to 70% more electricity than traditional fixed solar power systems.
We are looking for an experienced B2B salesperson for sales development and the management of the whole sales cycle. The individual filling this position will be responsible for the direct sales of Stracker products in the local sales territory, currently defined as southern Oregon and northern California.
The ideal candidate will have a foundation in technical and complex sales, and experience in lead generation, sales and contracts to guide prospective customers through the sales funnel to close deals.
Job Duties
· Develop deep expert-level knowledge of Stracker products, accurately and clearly explain benefits and technology to prospective customers
· Partner with key businesses to provide value to their organization using our products
· Perform demand generation, pipeline and opportunity management
· Prepare, document and deliver proposals
· Collaborate with marketing & office teams to develop appropriate sales materials
· Prepare and provide monthly and quarterly sales and industry reports
· Maintain customer and prospect information in the company CRM, assure all outreach and communication is handled from the CRM
· Ensure properly executed sales contracts
Job Requirements:
· Solid B2B sales experience with a proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding annual quotas
· Ability to manage complex sales cycles from start to finish, and talk clearly and confidently about technology
· Proven record of prospecting and closing new clients including cold calling, lead generation, list building, etc.
· Ability to travel in the southern Oregon and northern California region
· Must be tech savvy and have good working knowledge of Google Workspace, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the aptitude to learn addition tools as the role requires
· Great communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working within all levels of an organization including C-suite
· Good time management skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment, being able to quickly adapt to new circumstances as they arise
Preferred, but not Required:
· Experience with direct sales of solar PV and/or tracking systems
· Strong relationships in B2B sales / education space where you can call on your existing network
