Electrical Manufacturing Technician
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

Set electrical switchgear, panels, controllers, wireways, trays etc.
Read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
Install electrical conduit and wiring on modular chiller systems per plans.
Terminate high and low voltage wiring.
Construct supports and infrastructure for electrical equipment.
Oversee and organize electrical tool room.
Troubleshoot electrical tools, welders, and grinders.
Able to research replacement electrical parts.
Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review.

This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. Travel
Travel is primarily not required with exception to local travel during the business day.
Basic math and language skills required.
~2+ years of commercial or industrial electrical installation.
~ Knowledge concerning transformers, LVMCC, HVMCC, etc.
~ Good understanding of the National Electrical Code.
3+ years of commercial and industrial electrical installation
~ Enrolled or Graduated from an accredited apprenticeship program.
