About the Role:
We're seeking a Customer Success Manager with deep C&I solar experience to lead Station A's post-award project delivery and customer success function. This is not a traditional SaaS success role—it's a hands-on commercial solar leadership position for someone who thrives at the intersection of deal structuring, project execution, and customer relationship management.
You'll lead a small but powerful team, ensuring commercial solar and decarbonization projects progress seamlessly from RFP award through contracting and execution. You will own high-stakes negotiations, drive customer satisfaction, and remove obstacles to project throughput and financial close. This is a role for someone who speaks the language of PPAs, EPC contracts, and interconnection, and who understands the real-world complexities of C&I project delivery.

Requirements
What You'll Do:
- Lead Contracting & Negotiations: Drive the full lifecycle of commercial agreements—including PPAs, leases, interconnection, and EPC/O&M contracts. You'll redline, negotiate, and close deals that balance commercial, technical, and financial considerations
- Manage and Develop the Delivery Team: Provide clear leadership and direction to the project delivery team, ensuring priorities are aligned with customer outcomes, timelines, and revenue goals
- Ensure Project Throughput: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across development milestones—site control, permitting, interconnection, and diligence—to keep projects moving efficiently to close
- Own Customer Success for C&I Projects: Build trust with sophisticated enterprise customers, ensuring transparency, satisfaction, and repeat business through consistent delivery and performance
- Bridge Commercial, Technical, and Legal Workstreams: Collaborate closely with sales, legal, and finance to resolve issues early and structure financeable, risk-adjusted projects
- Systematize for Scale: Create processes, playbooks, and templates that increase velocity and repeatability across a growing portfolio of commercial clean energy transactions
You're an experienced C&I solar professional who has led teams, negotiated deals, and delivered complex projects in partnership with enterprise customers. You understand the nuance of commercial contracting and the pace of clean energy markets. Specifically, you bring:
- 8+ years of experience in commercial or industrial solar project development, delivery, or deal structuring
- Proven experience negotiating PPAs, site leases, EPC contracts, or interconnection agreements for commercial-scale projects
- Strong working knowledge of project finance, tax equity, and third-party ownership structures
- Track record of leading teams and implementing scalable processes to improve project throughput and customer satisfaction
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills with enterprise customers, developers, and investors
- Comfort operating in a dynamic, early-stage environment with high accountability and autonomy

- We believe in pay transparency. The annual base salary for this role is $135k - $165k depending on your location. We also offer a performance-based annual bonus and meaningful equity
- We are a fully remote organization and candidates based in CA, NV, OR, VA, MA, WA, NY are preferred
