Hours and Pay
- Pay Rate: $21.00$29.00 per hour, depending on experience
- 1st Shift: 6:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. 12:30 a.m.
- Schedule Requirements: Must be willing to work overtime, including 12-hour shifts
- Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
What You'll Do
- Operate high-speed production equipment to meet quality and productivity standards
- Set up machines accurately using proper setup techniques and secure cutting dies
- Continuously monitor product quality, including dimensions, caliper, warp, and defects
- Reduce waste by adhering to quality and production standards
- Maintain efficiency and record production output throughout the shift
- Complete production, safety, quality, and machine status reports accurately and on time
- Clean equipment and work areas at the end of production runs
- Submit maintenance and equipment work orders proactively when repairs are needed
- Assist with training team members and support line progression as needed
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet schedules and operational goals
- Recommend process and schedule improvements to support cost, quality, and service targets
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards
What You Bring
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience operating high-speed manufacturing equipment in corrugated, printing, or related industries
- Proven expert-level experience operating one or more of the following machines:
- 130 McKinley, 131 Hycorr, 135 Apstar, 136 or 138 Marmatsu, 143 Latitude, 149 or 150 J&L, 158 Tanabe, 1525 EM, 1527 A+, Banders/Unitizers, C500, 15500, Zund, Euclid, Phoenix Winder, Eberle Winder, Design Winder, Edge Guard, Optima, Tape Machines, Slitters, Appleton, Mark Andy Die Cutter, Aztek, Rewinders, Load Turners
- Ability to stand, bend, and remain on your feet for up to 12 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work any part of the production line
