What It Takes
- High school diploma or GED
- Hands-on machine or production floor experience
- Good with mechanics, tools, and small repairs
- Detail-driven with pride in your work
- Able to lift and move heavy loads
- Works well with the crew, safety always first
- Interpret specifications and instructions for production.
- Set up the machine to specifications.
- Select controls to position tools and workplace, and set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
- Observe operation and verify conformance of workplace to specifications.
- Maintain work area and related tools
