Role Description The Sustainability Success Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Berlin, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role focuses on guiding customers and partners in implementing effective sustainability strategies and solutions using SQUAKE’s products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on sustainability best practices, supporting them in measuring and reporting their environmental impact, and ensuring successful integration of SQUAKE’s tools into their operations. The Sustainability Success Manager will collaborate with internal teams such as product, sales, and data to translate customer needs into actionable improvements, and will prepare presentations, reports, and workshops to drive sustainability engagement. The role also involves monitoring relevant regulations and market trends, identifying opportunities for clients to advance their sustainability performance, and fostering long-term relationships that lead to measurable impact.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in corporate sustainability and sustainable development, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical actions for organizations.
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and familiarity with relevant frameworks or standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, CSRD, ESG reporting).
  • Well-developed analytical skills for interpreting environmental data, performance metrics, and impact assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and deliver clear presentations and written reports.
  • Relevant academic background in sustainability, environmental science, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer success, consultancy, or project management, preferably in a sustainability-focused or tech-driven environment.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Berlin, with strong self-organization and collaboration skills across remote and in-office settings.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
