Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Associate to support our VP-Level Project Finance Deal Leads in structuring, analyzing, and executing climate mitigation project finance deals. This individual will play a crucial role in financial modeling, preparing materials such as information memorandums, and supporting customers through the financing process.

The ideal candidate will have experience on a project finance advisory team in financial analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling, and project finance deals. A commitment to advancing global decarbonization efforts and addressing the climate crisis is essential. Our company is focused on making it easier for the industry to originate, structure, and finance climate mitigation projects.


Responsibilities

  • Support VP-Level Deal Leads in executing climate mitigation project finance deals from origination to financial close.
  • Develop and maintain discounted cash flow (DCF) financial models to assess project viability and structure financing solutions.
  • Assist in preparing investor materials, including information memorandums, presentations, and financial analysis reports.
  • Conduct due diligence on financial, regulatory, and technical aspects of deals.
  • Support customers by coordinating financing processes, gathering required documentation, and ensuring alignment with lenders and investors.
  • Research industry trends, regulatory updates, and market developments to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including legal, engineering, and business development, to facilitate smooth execution of deals.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently.
