Senior Project Manager (Wind/Utility-Scale Solar)
We are currently partnered with a well-capitalized, international renewable energy platform in the search for a Senior Project Manager to support their growing U.S. portfolio. This organization has a strong global presence and is actively expanding its North American utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage pipeline.
This role is based in Houston (hybrid schedule) and will play a critical part in delivering large-scale renewable projects from late-stage development through construction and COD.
Wind experience is required.
The Senior Project Manager will report into senior leadership within Project Management & Construction and will be responsible for delivering utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects on time and within budget. This is an owner-side position requiring strong EPC oversight, commercial awareness, and hands-on risk management experience.
The right candidate will bring proven wind project execution experience at utility scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams with a focus on mitigating cost and schedule risk
- Oversee development and maintenance of project schedules and progress reporting
- Track budgets, manage reforecasts, and support updates to overall project economics
- Provide oversight and active management of EPC contractors
- Support change order review and negotiation
- Lead technical due diligence efforts tied to project financing
- Manage RFP processes and EPC partner selection
- Interface directly with utilities to support successful interconnection and execution
- Perform gap analysis, troubleshooting, and milestone management across projects
- Support CAPEX development and project prioritization efforts
- Lead project handoff to Asset Management upon COD

Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil preferred)
- 8+ years of project management experience within energy or infrastructure
- Demonstrated success delivering utility-scale wind projects through full EPC lifecycle and COD (wind is non-negotiable)
- Experience operating in an owner's rep or IPP environment overseeing EPC partners
- Strong understanding of project scopes, contracts, scheduling, estimating, and constructability
- Familiarity with permitting, land coordination, and interconnection processes
- Working knowledge of utility interconnection frameworks and ISO environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Deep North American wind experience
- Advanced project management tool proficiency
