Lead the Growth of a High-Performing Transmission Team
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Transmission Lines to provide strategic leadership, drive business development efforts, oversee project execution, and mentor engineering teams across a growing transmission and power delivery practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who combines strong technical expertise with a successful track record in client development, project management, and team leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute growth strategies for the Transmission Line practice.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities.
- Build and strengthen strategic client relationships.
- Analyze market trends and identify emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to utility, energy, and infrastructure clients.
- Lead client engagement and account development efforts.
- Track opportunities and project pursuits through CRM systems.
- Support proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
⚡ Project & Operational Leadership
- Oversee transmission line projects from planning through closeout.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables and cross-functional project teams.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and client requirements.
- Support invoicing, forecasting, and project performance reporting.
Financial Management
- Monitor office and project financial performance.
- Support revenue forecasting and growth initiatives.
- Drive operational efficiency and project profitability.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering and project management staff.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on hiring initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and excellence.
- Support succession planning and long-term team development.
What We're Looking For
✅ 10+ years of experience in power delivery, transmission line, or utility infrastructure projects
✅ Strong background in engineering leadership, project management, staff management, and business development
✅ Demonstrated success developing client relationships that result in profitable revenue growth
✅ Experience managing large-scale utility, transmission, or power delivery projects
✅ Professional Engineer (PE) License required
✅ Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning capabilities
✅ Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software platforms
