Project Manager
The Project Manager I to manage a portfolio of utility projects ranging from approximately $100K–$25M. Projects may include new transmission line construction, line rebuilds, substation construction, transformer replacements, and switchgear replacements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and overall execution
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and manage tasks throughout the project lifecycle
- Track and report project financials with support from Project Controls
- Manage risks, issues, and project decisions
- Work closely with engineering, construction, and other project teams
- Make occasional site visits as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 2-year college degree required; 4-year degree preferred
- Experience with project management principles and practices
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with scheduling and cost controls preferred
- Utility industry and construction experience preferred
- PMP/CAPM, CMII, PE, or utility certifications are a plus
