Licensed Journeyman Electrician - Daily Per Diem
Job Description
SOSA has immediate, high-priority openings for licensed Journeyman Electricians for a major solar installation project in Albion, Michigan. This is a high-paying opportunity with guaranteed overtime in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
We are offering a top-tier compensation package designed to attract skilled professionals.
Compensation & Benefits:
Total Hourly Wage: $82.64 per hour. This is broken down into a 53.55 base wage plus a 29.09 per hour fringe benefit paid directly on your check.
Daily Per Diem: $100 per diem is provided for each day worked to cover travel and lodging expenses.
Immediate Start: We are looking to fill these roles immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical installations on a large-scale solar project.
Install critical cabling and trunk line systems ("Cab & Trunk").
Install underground DC systems, including conduit and wiring.
Perform Medium Voltage (MV) and Direct Current (DC) terminations with precision.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
Adhere to all NEC and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Required: Must hold a valid State of Michigan Journeyman Electrical License.
Proven experience in commercial or utility-scale electrical installations.
Direct experience with solar projects, including underground DC and MV terminations, is highly preferred.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.
Required: Proficiency in English is required; bilingual abilities are a plus.
