Financial Analyst
The Role
Ready to use your financial modelling skills to help shape the future of renewable energy? We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Financial Analysis team in Madrid, Spain, reporting to the Financial Analysis Manager. In this role, you will support the evaluation of renewable energy opportunities, financing and portfolio valuations, helping inform decisions across project development, construction and operations.
The Financial Analyst will run, update and enhance financial models for renewable energy projects across geographies, including building and amending model functionality within defined parameters. You will support end-to-end acquisition processes for solar and battery energy storage systems, including valuations for non-binding offers, and contribute to day-to-day decision-making through the maintenance of project business plans, scenario analysis and quarterly NAV valuations.
You will also support the adoption and continuous improvement of financial modelling tools, systems and workflows, helping maintain reliable project financial data. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will partner closely with Growth/M&A, Strategic Finance, Asset Management, Commercial, E&C and Project Finance stakeholders, sharing insights and contributing to collective decision-making and team success.
Desirable skills:
We deploy AI across the business, from generation and trading decisions to the everyday workflows of every team. We invest in our people’s digital fluency so everyone works alongside these tools with confidence.
Studies show that many qualified candidates hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement. If this role excites you, but you don’t meet every single qualification, we still encourage you to apply. We value diverse skills, perspectives, and experiences that contribute to a stronger team.
In line with EU pay transparency requirements, salary ranges will be shared with candidates in the EU before progressing to the next stage of the recruitment process, and always before interview. This range reflects the typical starting pay for new hires. Pay above this level may apply in specific circumstances based on experience, skills, or role scope.
