Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for overhead and underground transmission line projects. In this role, you will own the bottom line for projects that may include high-voltage (HV) transmission lines, underground lines, substations, distribution systems, private networks, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute projects with meaningful impact across communities.

  • Manage a variety of projects in the electric grid space, including both innovative and established technologies.

  • Travel to project sites approximately 25% of the time.

Team Environment:
The team focuses on advanced technology-driven projects within energy and industrial sectors, including advanced manufacturing, data centers, distributed infrastructure, and energy storage solutions. The group operates in a fast-paced, technology-led environment, providing opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture on all projects.

  • Respond to RFPs and prepare proposals for services and EPC work.

  • Lead project teams through conceptual design and procurement phases, particularly for substation and transmission projects.

  • Manage project schedule, budget, and scope of services.

  • Interface effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to ensure project success.

  • Operate effectively in both corporate office and field environments.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Serve as project manager, including oversight and leadership of project teams, which may vary in composition depending on the project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • Experience managing overhead and/or underground transmission line projects.

  • Familiarity with multiple phases of project execution.

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Professional engineering license (PE, P.Eng, or equivalent).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records review.
