The Team You're Joining

  • The Operations Team designs and manages the infrastructure that enables the organization to operate in a stable, sustainable, and effective manner, supporting key areas including people, finance, compliance, and internal communications.
  • We play a critical role in facilitating seamless communication within our multilingual organization and supporting clear external engagement - spanning both verbal interpretation and written language support across teams and projects.

How You'll Contribute

  • Provide Korean–English online interpretation for internal meetings (team meetings, onboarding, interviews, all-staff briefings) and external sessions (stakeholder meetings, presentations) via Zoom, MS Teams, and similar platforms
  • Support on-site interpretation for key offline events such as company-wide retreats and workshops (may require travel)
  • Assist with translation and editing of written materials, including reports, emails, guides, and presentation decks
  • Review session materials and compile relevant terminology in preparation for interpretation
  • Monitor interpretation demand and manage interpretation schedules
  • Manage communication with internal teams and external stakeholders

Who We're Looking For

  • M.A. in Korean–English Interpretation and Translation
  • Minimum 1 year of professional interpretation experience or comparable hands-on experience
  • Excellent command of both Korean and English, spoken and written
  • High interpretation and translation accuracy and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain terminology consistency in Korean–English communication, and to collaborate autonomously based on clear communication and active listening
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and deliver language services that reflect the organization's values

Nice to Have

  • Experience providing interpretation or translation in nonprofit, international cooperation, or climate and energy-related fields
  • Prior in-house interpretation experience
  • Experience working in multicultural and multilingual environments
  • Familiarity with hybrid interpretation settings, including Zoom interpretation, headsets, and transmitter equipment
  • An extensive network of interpreter and translator contacts
  • Experience managing a team of interpreters or in-house interpreters

  • 한국어–영어 통번역대학원 졸업자
  • 전문 통역 경력 1년 이상 또는 이에 준하는 실무 경험 보유자
  • 한국어 및 영어 구두·서면 구사 능력이 뛰어난 분
