The Team You're Joining

  • SFOC's energy program works to expand renewable energy by building a fair and reliable power market.
  • We aim to do this by introducing better governance and market design within the power system to address unfair treatment of renewable and flexibility resources, and by organizing corporate voices against Korea's outdated power system.

How You'll Contribute

  • Develop and implement campaign strategies for key areas of activity
  • Lead policy campaigns and manage overall operations
  • Conduct research on policies and the landscape related to renewable energy and the power market system
  • Engage in coalition activities through ongoing communication with domestic and international stakeholders
  • Collaborate with SFOC's other program and network teams
  • Monitor work processes and provide internal feedback

Who We're Looking For

  • 1-5+ years of work experience
  • Working-level proficiency in Korean and English
  • Strategic thinking and effective communication skills, including report writing
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of and passion for sustainability and carbon neutrality issues in the power sector

Nice to Have

  • Experience collaborating with domestic policy stakeholders, or related work experience
  • Familiarity with Korean government or corporate structure and culture, including experience managing relationships with both working level and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in multicultural and multilingual environments
