People Operations Team
(Recruiter)
Organization Description
SFOC was established in South Korea in 2016 with the goal of most effectively reducing greenhouse gases in line with the Paris Agreement's target to limit the global average temperature increase to within 1.5°C.
Under the mission of 'Accelerating the Global Transition to Renewable Energy and Phasing Out Fossil Fuels,' we continuously identify and expand on the most urgent issues that need to be addressed to combat the climate crisis. By collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, we promote tangible change.
SFOC currently focuses on three major areas: Fossil Fuel Phase-Out, Industrial Decarbonization, and Renewable Energy Expansion. To drive effective climate crisis response, we employ a variety of tactics including research, communication, diplomacy, legal action, and civil society alliances.
Believing that 'People' are the key to tackling the climate crisis, we work alongside experts from various fields to engage in climate action. SFOC embraces a creative approach, unrestricted by conventional strategies, to find solutions.
We collaborate with partners in Korea, other parts of Asia, and around the world. Centered on climate agendas that SFOC emphasizes, we aim to grow as a key organization in the global response to the climate crisis.
Team Introduction
Solution for Our Climate (SFOC) believes that climate problems can be solved through people. Based on this belief and core values, SFOC's People Operations Team designs organizational cultures and systems that help staffs fully empower and continue to grow in their place. We secure and maintain excellent talent density through recruitment, and operate and develop various onboarding sessions and internal programs for organizational and work adaptation. In addition, we establish a culture of healthy feedback among staffs and operate the entire personnel affairs of SFOC stably, including labor and compliance management at local and global offices.
The People Operations Team is deeply involved in practical operations and institutional improvements to create a "people-centric, workable environment," and continues to think and experiment in the process. In particular, we actively support the global expansion of SFOC and the recruitment of talented people from various cultures.
