Solar Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Technician located in Roanoke, VA. The Solar Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems for residential and commercial properties. Daily tasks include inspecting solar systems, identifying and troubleshooting system malfunctions, and ensuring the efficiency and safety of solar power installations. The role also requires collaboration with team members to complete projects with precision and adherence to the highest industry standards.
- Knowledge of Solar Systems, Solar Power, and the overall Solar Industry
- Hands-on experience with Power Generation and related systems
- Ability to effectively perform Troubleshooting and resolve system issues
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems and components
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety
- Physical ability to work outdoors, on rooftops, and in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications in solar energy or electrical systems are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in renewable energy or electrical work is preferred
