About Saxon Renewables
Saxon Renewables is a climate solutions partner supporting organisations across Asia in achieving credible decarbonisation outcomes.
We work with corporates to reduce their carbon footprint and meet renewable energy targets through Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), onsite and offsite Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs/VPPAs), carbon credits, and broader decarbonisation strategies.
As demand for renewable energy and climate solutions accelerates, we are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Operations Executive to join our expanding renewable energy and carbon trading business.
Role Overview:
This role supports the day-to-day operations of Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) and carbon credit transactions. You will be involved in key processes from deal confirmation through to delivery and documentation.
You will work closely with the commercial, trading, and finance teams to support both supply and purchase transactions across registry platforms, internal systems, and inventory tracking.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and organised, with a structured approach to ensure accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced and growing market.
1. Transaction Support
- Support the execution and tracking of Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) and Carbon Credit transactions, including processing Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Proof of Delivery (POD), and invoicing.
- Update and manage transactions across internal systems and external registry platforms (e.g. I-REC, TIGR), ensuring all trades are accurately recorded and completed in a timely manner.
2. Inventory & Data Integrity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory balances, trade logs, and client contracts within internal systems.
- Monitor inflow and outflow of RECs and carbon credits, perform basic reconciliations, and ensure data consistency across systems to support reliable reporting and delivery.
3. Cross-team Coordination
- Work closely with commercial, trading, and finance teams to support day-to-day transaction execution.
- Follow up on outstanding items (e.g. contract details, delivery status, payment updates), help resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth coordination from deal closure to final delivery.
4. Process & System Support
- Support improvements in internal workflows and systems, including identifying inefficiencies, maintaining documentation, and contributing to process enhancements as the business scales.
- Fresh graduates or junior professionals (up to 2 years of experience) are welcome to apply. Experience in handling purchase orders, sales orders, inventory, or operational processes is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for data tracking and basic reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and evolving industry, particularly within renewable energy and carbon markets.
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and adaptability when handling new tasks or shifting priorities.
- Comprehensive training and guidance will be provided to support your learning and development.
