Job Description Job Description SolarTech is hiring a licensed Journeyman Electrician to support our growing residential solar and battery installation team. Key Responsibilities Install and connect solar PV and battery storage systems (ESS) Perform and lead Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) including service replacements, derates, and panel relocations Complete subpanel installations, service tie-ins, and load-side connections Read and execute from electrical plans and single-line diagrams Run and bend conduit (EMT, rigid, flexible) to code Troubleshoot, test, and commission systems Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local codes Support inspections and coordinate with AHJs Mentor installers and maintain a safe, efficient job site Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or relevant certifications a plus. 2+ years of experience in solar panel installation required Familiarity with hand and power tools, conduit bending, and safe ladder use45. Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions, including heat and confined spaces5. Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work on your feet for extended periods5. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required5. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate preferred. Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality workmanship.
