Job Summary
The Senior Warehouse Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. This position drives strategic initiatives to optimize efficiency, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and align warehouse activities with broader organizational goals. The role involves leading teams, implementing scalable processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor warehouse teams, including scheduling, performance monitoring, training, and conflict resolution to maximize productivity and minimize overtime.
- Oversee end-to-end operations such as receiving and stowing goods, inventory control, order fulfillment, quality assurance, and shipping logistics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse layout, workflows, equipment utilization, and technology integration (e.g., WMS and ERP systems) to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Conduct audits, analyze performance metrics, and provide recommendations for inventory optimization, cost reduction, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety standards; monitor security of goods and maintain a safe work environment through policy enforcement and regular inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, transportation providers, and executives to resolve logistical issues and support supply chain goals.
- Contribute to budgeting, strategic decision-making, and long-term planning, including forecasting needs for expansion or automation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business operations, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role leading teams of 5+ associates, and multiple geographical locations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, inventory control practices, and logistics best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and operate forklifts (certification required).
- Excellent reading and writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products as well as SalesForce CRM.

- Advanced problem-solving, strategic planning, and project management skills for handling complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental coordination.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) and experience with SCM software.
The Senior Warehouse Manager position is expected to be an onsite employment opportunity.
