Solar Site Survey Job Description

Job Summary
SolarTech is seeking a highly organized, people-focused HR Manager / Recruiter to support our rapid growth and expanding workforce. This role is critical to meeting current hiring demands while also providing ongoing HR operational support across the organization.


The HR Manager / Recruiter will own full-cycle recruiting efforts and serve as one of the key HR points of contact for employees, managers, and leadership...partnering closely with internal leadership and external HR resources. This role supports scalable people processes, compliance, and employee experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for corporate, sales, operations, and field roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, hiring timelines, and success profiles
  • Post jobs, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview panels
  • Manage offer letters, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding coordination
  • Ensure a consistent, professional, and high-quality candidate experience
  • Track and report on hiring pipelines, time-to-fill, and recruiting metrics


HR Operations, Compliance & Employee Support

  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, onboarding, timekeeping, and general HR matters
  • Support Workers’ Compensation processes, including injury reporting, claim coordination, documentation, and return-to-work tracking in partnership with leadership and external partners
  • Assist with time and attendance management, including system support, policy adherence, exception tracking, and coordination with payroll partners
  • Partner with leadership and external HR advisors on employee relations and compliance matters
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth employee transitions
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist with performance management processes, reviews, and employee feedback cycles

Operational & Growth Support

  • Help build, document, and refine scalable HR and recruiting processes
  • Support workforce planning and hiring forecasts in partnership with leadership
  • Assist with HR compliance tracking and coordination with external HR, legal, benefits, payroll, and workers’ compensation partners
  • Support special HR projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
  • Leverage HR technology and AI tools in an ethical, compliant, and value-added manner


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, or people operations
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a high-growth or high-volume environment
  • Hands-on experience supporting Workers’ Compensation claims and return-to-work processes
  • Experience supporting time and attendance systems and workforce timekeeping compliance
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with process improvement
  • High attention to detail, discretion, and follow-through
  • Comfortable working in-office and collaborating closely with teams and leadership
  • Experience with ATS, HRIS, and timekeeping systems
  • Experience in construction, solar, or field-services environments is a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance recruiting and HR workflows is a plus


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75k to $90k/hour based solely on experience

Expected hours: 40 per week
