Role Overview
The Brand Marketing Specialist will focus on executing marketing tasks related to social media, referral programs, and review management. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for implementing strategies, maintaining consistency across platforms, and supporting key branding initiatives. This position is focused on execution with the opportunity to contribute to strategy development

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Execution

  • Post and schedule content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

  • Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments/messages, and escalate issues when needed.

  • Assist in gathering customer stories, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional materials for social media.

  • Track social media metrics and compile performance reports for review.

Referral Program Support

  • Assist in executing referral campaigns and incentives under the guidance of the Director of Marketing.

  • Maintain and update referral program details in CRM systems.

  • Follow up on referral submissions and ensure proper documentation.

Review & Reputation Management

  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews on Google, Yelp, BBB, EnergySage, and other platforms.

  • Implement automated review request processes to increase customer feedback.

  • Assist in compiling testimonials for marketing use.

Marketing Automation & Engagement Tasks

  • Support email/SMS workflows by ensuring automation is properly set up.

  • Help execute engagement triggers for referral and review requests.

  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions in CRM tools.

Administrative & Reporting Support

  • Assist in compiling monthly reports on brand growth, social media engagement, and referral program success.

  • Maintain documentation for ongoing marketing campaigns.

  • Provide general support to the marketing team as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

✅ 2-5+ years of experience in social media, marketing, or a related field (internship experience acceptable).
✅ Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
✅ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
✅ Ability to follow processes and execute tasks efficiently.

✅ Experience with design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) is a plus but not required.
✅ Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus but not required.
✅ Interest in the solar industry or sustainability is a plus.
