Are you communicative and commercially strong and do you consider customer service to be of paramount importance? Do you have great persuasiveness and motivation to achieve success? Then we are looking for you for the position of Inside Sales Representative. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager and working with the SolarEdge Sales Team, you’ll be responsible for proactively contacting customers by telephone, generating and qualifying leads, and following up on prospects.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be target driven, and have experience in a comparable role in the solar industry (for example telephone sales or customer service)

  • Location- hybrid working between home and office in St Neots

Part-Time position


  • Proactively approaching your customers by telephone with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction
  • Conducting high-quality conversations with your customers, and achieving tangible commercial results
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions and competitive positioning via up-sell of additional products and services.
  • Translate the wishes and expectations of customers into commercial opportunities
  • Various activities related to relationship management, e.g. sending brochures
  • Maintaining CRM database with leads and follow up
  • Supporting sales and marketing campaigns and activities



  • 2 years of relevant experience in inside sales, promotions, telemarketing
  • Familiar with the solar industry and related products/services
  • Experience in sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Ability to identify and reach the right person
  • Ability to influence sales through telemarketing efforts
  • Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Proven track record in sales results from telemarketing experience
  • Organized, detail oriented
  • Ability to function effectively in an entrepreneurial, complex, and fast growing environment
  • Demonstrate high energy, self-motivation and persistence
