This position provides a rare opportunity to build the SolarEdge North America Enterprise Consulting Team and have a major part in leading the Company’s efforts in powering the Energy Transition of corporates in North America and across the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will be business development-focused and require subject matter expertise in Renewable Energy technology, sales strategy, project development, policy, financial modeling, and project finance solutions.
  • Designing and managing energy transition strategies for SEDG Consultancy’s clients. Build and oversee execution of the Business plan, financial roadmap, and partnership principles agreement of the program.
  • Understand the customers’ needs to leverage the right elements of SEDG value proposition, own clients’ goals and work to align its growth with our company long-term vision.
  • Work with the unit leaders & national and local commercial sales teams to optimize client propositions.
  • Relationship building with customers and other team members
  • Conceptualize & drive sales processes, approaches, tools, and metrics to maximize opportunity conversion.
  • Conceptualize & drive customer experience processes to the highest level possible.
  • Proactively and accurately support customer needs.
  • Reinforce partnerships with all stakeholders of the projects and effectively communicate and deliver up one SEDG value proposition
  • Develop and manage an account base to achieve sales and business objectives.
  • Research, contact, qualify and develop Prospects and Leads across the continent.
  • Ensure premium level client service and satisfaction
  • You will support financial analysis and evaluation of potential projects with your Key Accounts Creative deal structuring and new financing strategies


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, or enterprise client account management.
  • Experience with clients across industries, especially Retail, IT and Publicly Traded entities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing processes for C-Suite and additional executive leaders.
  • Experience in Key account management – Enterprises/ EPCs/ Investors preferred.
  • Facilitate new client onboarding by Business Development
  • Formulating overall decarbonization strategies:
  • Across geographies and use-cases.
  • Understanding of the PV/ Sustainability industry and familiarity with business models.
  • Experience quantifying financial & non-financial impact of Sustainability initiative.
  • Designing KPIs and creating circular business models.
  • Environmental (ESG) frameworks, benchmarks & reporting:
  • Knowledge in policies affecting Renewable Energy offering in relevant geographies.
  • Experience in scope 1-3 emissions analysis, balancing and carbon removal strategies.
  • Passionate about the Energy Transition & clean technology
  • Reliable, resilient, and tenacious
  • Organized, independent and process-oriented with a desire to lead.
  • Comfort working through uncertain/unstructured environments.
  • An energetic, motivated, and driven person who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves and do whatever is necessary to guarantee the success of the company.
  • Enjoys working with senior executives and pioneering new business models
  • Technical savvy & analytically oriented - you make decisions based on data.
  • Professional experience working in solar/ other renewable energy industries, or with related emerging technologies a plus.
  • Electrical, Mechanical or Civil engineering with solar experience.
  • Industry relationships and experience working with industry leaders.
  • Prior experience in the technology industry; product development, engineering, or go-to-market experience.
