This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join our new SolarEdge manufacturing Team and have the opportunity to build together this new operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

NPI projects support:

  • Get and check the NPI plan in advance to verify and push for readiness.
  • Collaborate with HQ teams to find and fix problems during the batch.
  • After the batch, summarize test-related issues and follow up with non-fixed issues. Get prepared for the next batch.

Inner ATE communication:

  • Communicate with HQ teams to ensure the latest update is implemented in CM both from HW and SW wise.
  • Timely support to HQ teams for local support requirements.
  • Timely report and escalate critical non-fixed issues to HQ teams and follow up.

Production FPY monitoring & improvement:

  • Local team to check daily FPY and send daily test reports.
  • Follow up with yield-hit test issues and push till closed.
  • Report yield-hit non-test issues to the operation and QnR team to push for improvement.

Tester maintenance:

  • Check FPY daily and find out maintenance-related issues.
  • Fix online the tester issues timely.
  • Push the CM TE team to follow maintenance instructions to improve tester maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance audit monthly with the CM TE team.

Cross sites support:

  • Support to approve and send testers to other sites to help with production expansion.
  • Collaborate and share data and help other sites “off-hours”, including traveling to other countries.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent English skills, both reading and writing – required
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering– Must
  • Excellent knowledge of electronics– required
  • 2 years experience
  • Experience with electronics – advantage

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in Texas at the start of employment is expected to be between $85K - $100K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
