We use the solar panels as an educational instrument and provide online modules and experimental kits that range from physics and engineering classes for high schools students to energy and sustainability interactive materials for kids and pupils in elementary and kindergarten.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a PV Designer. The PV Designer will be responsible for creating preliminary designs of solar photovoltaic systems for schools and creating offers using our panelizer software. The role requires working with multiple teams including project managers, sales leads, school administrators, and other design professionals. The PV Designer will also be responsible for staying current with developments in the solar energy industry and incorporating best practices into their designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in Solar PV Design Engineering.
- Experience working on sales offers, proposals, and tender documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSol and other design software.
- Excellent English communication skills as you will be working closely with our teams in the UK and Germany.
- Strong aptitude in mathematics and use of analytical skills using Excel.
- Working with many types of sloped (metal sheet, tiled, slate, etc.) and flat roofs.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
