We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Local Driver (Mon-Th 12-10am) to assist with our food waste collection operations. This role is perfect for a professional driver who is looking for consistent, part-time work and has a proven track record of safely operating a vehicle with a trailer.

You will be responsible for the collection and transportation of food waste from our local commercial clients. Your shift will begin by reporting to our facility to pick up your vehicle and attached trailer. You will then proceed with your pre-assigned local route, collecting food waste containers and returning them to our designated drop-off point.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle with a trailer on local routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer.
  • Empty food waste carts on-site, rinse out with a pressure washer, and return them to the client.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Communicate with the dispatch team regarding your progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
  • Proven experience driving with a trailer is required.
  • Valid standard driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Available to work Monday through Thursday for 8-10 hours each day. shift starts at 12:30am.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting and maneuvering food waste containers.
