We are shaping the energy revolution! In the Home Solutions Business Segment, we develop integrated energy solutions homes. With our SMA Energy System, our customers can not only generate solar energy - we also provide solutions for optimally using the generated solar power in the entire house. Supplying household appliances with solar power, charging electric vehicles in a climate-neutral manner and controlling heating in a cost-optimized way - with the SMA Energy System Home, this can be done fully automatically with 100% green power from the roof, if desired.
Your contribution to the "big picture"
- As Head of Product Management you are shaping customer-centric products for the Business Segment Home by bringing detailed component, system and service knowledge to a holistic customer solution
- You are an entrepreneur: you are taking responsibility for driving the solutions business and adapting it to market demands together with your team. Also, you are in close alignment with corresponding departments, such as Customization & Application Development.
- Together with your team, you are responsible for the success of the global roadmap for solutions and related components as well as strategic and operational project portfolio management
- In this context, you are working on the overall company portfolio offering
- You are responsible for coordinating platform-related topics with the other Business Segments
- Essential for your task is to build and lead a motivated and innovative "Winner-Team"
Your skills are needed
- You have a completed university degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering) / alternative comparable qualification
- You have a minimum of 5 years, preferably 10 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in B2B high-tech
- Your methodological competencies include in particular: ability to prove from experience your methodical and consistent approach to business matters
- Your functional competencies include experience in process design and expertise in the global PV Home key markets (EU, USA, Australia) as well as very broad experience in components (e.g., inverter) and system environment (e.g., energy management solutions and batteries)
- Your personal competencies include in particular: strong communication skills, decision-making, strategic, creative, and independent thinker, leadership and management skills, planning and organizational skills, strong sense of responsibility and urgency
- You are fluent in English (minimum B2), German language skills are advantageous
