THE ROLE

We are seeking a Partnerships & Data Acquisition Lead to build and manage the field intelligence networks that power our platforms. This role will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, coordinating field data acquisition activities, and establishing scalable systems for collecting high- quality datasets across multiple sectors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, recruit, and manage strategic partners including aggregators, cooperatives, farmer organizations, utilities, NGOs, government agencies, and community institutions.

Build and maintain data acquisition networks across multiple geographies.

Design and oversee field data collection operations.

Develop standard operating procedures for field intelligence gathering.

Manage field officers, enumerators, and partner organizations.

Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity.

Establish stakeholder engagement frameworks.

Support expansion into new regions and sectors.

Work closely with analytics and AI teams to ensure data requirements are met.


IDEAL PROFILE

  • Strong Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships skills, including experience building, negotiating, and managing external relationships.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid Analytical Skills, with experience evaluating data quality, commercial value, and partnership performance.
  • Sales-oriented mindset, with a track record in business development, account management, or similar revenue-focused roles.
  • Experience in environmental data, climate tech, agritech, or related sectors is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Data/Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

▸2+ years in field operations, partnerships, development programs and Data related field

Demonstrated experience managing distributed field teams.

Excellent operational and project management skills.

Strong understanding of data collection methodologies.

Comfortable working across rural and urban environments.
