Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or manage sustainability and energy transition projects, including carbon accounting, target setting, net-zero roadmaps, carbon credits, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon policies, and carbon project development.
  • Manage project delivery by coordinating resources, schedules, subcontractors, budgets, and risks to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare and contribute to proposals, bids, and technical submissions for new sustainability and energy transition projects.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, actively sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices with colleagues.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in the execution of sustainability, decarbonisation, or carbon development projects.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
  • Strong understanding of emerging sustainability, carbon market trends, standards, and policies.
  • Working knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies and the GHG Protocol.
  • Experience or knowledge in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Science-Based Target (SBT) setting.
  • Understanding of climate-related risks, opportunities, and resilience assessments.
  • Knowledge of nature-based solutions and carbon credit project development.
  • Exposure to Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) processes and supply chains.
  • Understanding of green hydrogen supply chains and the broader energy sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage effectively with clients, government agencies, and partners.
  • High attention to detail, with strong analytical, presentation, and technical writing capabilities.
