Associate Buyer Sims Metal (Sims) is a global leader in metal recycling. Represent Sims in acquisition of scrap metal to include pricing of material, pricing and coordinating transportation, sourcing of scrap material, communicating with vendors, maintaining business relationships, negotiating payment terms, negotiating specification of materials, visiting suppliers, and coordination with appropriate parties. Assist in special projects as required. Maintain existing business / visit customer sites. Assist in special projects. Demonstrated buying or sales experience is preferred, 1 or more years. Ability to travel (occasional overnight travel). Proficiency with MS Office.
