We are looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join us on our sites helping the site teams upkeep the high quality standards of Siemens Gamesa.
How to contribute to our vision
As the Quality Inspector is responsible for supporting the Quality Manager in Projects implementation of the Project Quality Plan on site, you will be executing quality activities on site in line with the requirements of the quality requirements, product specifications and SGRE IMS system.
You will cooperate closely with the Quality Manager in Projects of the project and other inspectors, and when on site with the Site Manager.
You will follow a shift pattern therefore a flexible approach to travel and working away from home on a continuing basis is essential
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Conduct Inspection according to the inspection plan, such as delivery inspections, pre-assembly walkdowns, pre-assembly final walkdowns, mechanical walkdowns and final walkdowns
- Assessment of workmanship practices (when performed) to verify and ensure quality levels
- Be responsible for all relevant documentation within Quality
- Maintenance of turbine traceability within the pre-assembly, installation and commissioning phases
- The reporting of all non-conformances and guarantee that physicals product nonconformances are reported and reinspected for verification of closure
- Support the Quality Manager in performing technical investigations and root cause analysis of non-conformances
What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
We are also looking for candidates with a technical education and experience from the Wind Industry.
Having experience from the construction industry will be considered a benefit.
You will be managing and leading our quality topics with our site team and subcontractors so we expect you to have demonstrated experience in both.
We also expect you to have the ability to within a process environment, process improvement and to promote a healthy and safe working environment.
