We are now recruiting Service technicians to Strömstad/Skee/Lur.
How to contribute to our vision.
We are now recruiting two Service Technicians for our hub Tanumshede in northern Bohuslän, Sweden. We are looking for someone who would appreciate a stimulating and varied job. You will primarily work on our new sales success SG 5.X. An onshore turbine with nominal power up to 6.6 MW. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and inspections of our customers wind turbines.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
As a service technician you will perform work task assigned by Site Lead and perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on windfarms with focus on wind turbines and related equipment. You will always work in teams of two or more.
The service technicians will plan their own work and transportation within the assigned task and are responsible for reporting the completed work, time used for the task, problem/fault/issues found while working in the sites.
This position provides the opportunity to make use of your knowledge within electricity and mechanics where you independently can solve problems on site to ensure high operational reliability and provide excellent service to our customers. Ensuring that on-site work is always carried out with safety as the highest priority. For electrical work, we work according to the Swedish electrical standard (SS-EN 50110-1).
You will be supporting our customers both remotely and onsite and coordinate service operations and resolve product issues. This includes carrying out improvement measures and modifications.
You are responsible for reporting and documentation of your work, including supervising, coordinating and follow up jobs performed by subcontractors.
Our employee’s knowledge is important to us. You will therefore start with a training at Siemens Gamesas training center in Denmark as well as in different locations in Sweden.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for someone who has at least a high school education with a technical focus. Education in electricity, hydraulics or mechanics is a huge advantage, as well as experience in wind power. You have a flexible schedule and have a driving license, as you will be driving to our different sites.
