In the role of Operations / Resource Manager (f/m/x) at Siemens Gamesa you are responsible for performance and disciplinary management, recruitment, personal and technical development of our offshore technicians. You will be responsible as a leader for a team of up to 30-40 offshore technicians. In the role of Operations / Resource Manager (f/m/x) at Siemens Gamesa you are responsible for performance and disciplinary management, recruitment, personal and technical development of your own technicians. You will be responsible as a leader for a team of up to 30-40 offshore technicians. Your tasks will be to:
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and make sure technicians meet requirements (e.g. offshore training, certificates, equipment) before each assignment.
- Ensure the development of staff based on business needs and personal development skills
- Maintain staffing levels through new hires as well as ensuring your team is utilized to a high standard
- Execute performance management according to predefined processes (SGMBO, soft skill evaluation, consequence management)
- Manage a staff overview in the planning tool to ensure availability and utilisation across functions and countries
- Regularly visit offshore construction sites and colleagues in foreign locations at home and abroad.
What you bring with you
A passion for renewable energies and a feel for climate change. This also distinguishes you:
- Bachelor's degree or a vocational training certified technician in combination with additional leadership training
- Experience in leading a (smaller) team in an industrial environment or in the HR area
- Understanding and experience in project or assembly business
- Willingness to work internationally and ideally already have some experience in international companies
- As a person you are self-determined and persevering, but at the same time open and communicative
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good English skillset
