Provide support to the operations team to ensure appropriate health, safety and environmental within designated hub/ site/or combination to support delivery of a strong QHSE management framework and culture. Support the operations team by providing leadership, demonstrating and promoting responsible attitudes towards QHSE, implementing best practice with regards to quality management of Health, Safety and Environmental standards and contributing towards the delivery of the overall business QHSE strategy.
1. Engage with and promote the #Safety is my Choice EHS Culture and support local engagement and alignment to the overall EHS strategic objectives via campaigns, workshops, forums etc.
2. Govern HSE performance based on organizational/ country/ local industrial/ contractual/ customer’s requirements, regulations.
3. Being an example to lead HSE behaviors in business including contractors. Proactive monitoring, hazard identification and facilitating the implementation of effective control measures. Stop work whenever find unsafe condition or unsafe act that harm HSE of workers.
4. Ensure availability and timely update of HSE related documentation for auditing/ Inspection purpose.
5. Focus on HSE technology, provide professional HSE advise/ support for business contract HSE documentation review and operation management.
6. Define/review Risk assessment for business/operations, especially for non-routine/ retrofits activities.
7. Work together with Site operation team, draft specific preventive measures for high-risk activities and support Operation & HSE Country officer for business requests.
8. Coordinate the occupational health management including job occupational risk analysis, occupational health check-up and monitoring, etc.
9. Coordinate and monitor the electrical safety program include control of hazard energy, LOTO management and implementation.
10. Coordinate to complete substance safety program including importing legal compliance, storage, transportation, using and waste handling etc.
11. Lead the working at height safety program including rescue, rope access, etc.
12. Provide regular and ad-hoc site inspections to verify that Safe System of Work and Setting to Work process are properly implemented at workplace. perform quality inspections / quality audits and provide coaching & development.
14. Ensure EHS event statistics and KPI’s are compiled, analyzed for trends, acted upon locally and shared throughout the business as necessary.
15. Facilitate and support #HomeSafe and customer initiative, i.e. ZeroHarm, forums / workshops and develop a continual cultural improvement programe.
16. Proposes function or unit related budgets, and decides on targets, budget and resource allocation, within given limits.
17. Other BU assigned tasks.
- Customer interface of request (inspections, meetings, reports)
- Government/ agency/ authority interface of request (meeting, inspections, forums)
