How to contribute to our vision
We are looking for Head of Sales for Rest of Asia Pacific, reporting to the APAC head of Sales and Marketing for onshore.
This role is part of sales APAC leadership team.
Some of the key areas we want you to be involved in include:
  • Fully responsible for the order intake into the Rest of APAC markets. This is an area including specific key markets for SGRE – ranging from South East Asia to Pacific.
  • Responsible for the sales management team in the various markets covered.
  • Develops and proposes sales budgets and long term growth forecasts aligned with the sales strategy of the unit(s) and according to market projections
  • Defines clearly market (s) trends and policies
  • Manages completion of budgets and regular sales reporting on regular basis
  • Defines and allocates resources within the own team, with right prioritization
  • Cooperates with the different areas of sales management (e.g. Marketing, Product Management, technical support etc)and Project Management in matters of strategic and tactical Positioning.
  • Drives customer focus within the organization and initiates / contributes to planning of customer related product development measures , responsible for accounts beyond sales in case of escalations
  • Responsible for the marketing budget for its area

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales
  • Previous experience within in wind or Energy industry large equipment will be Ideal
  • Educational Background: MSc in Engineering or commercial, MBA/EMBA will be added advantage
  • Able to work and adapt in multi-cultural environments
  • Leadership skills and experience of handling a multi cultural and geographically spread team
  • Fluent in English, any other Asian Language known will be added advantage
  • Strong Analytical skills is required
  • Ability to analyze and execute strategies
  • Flexible to Travel - 50% (within Asia Pacific region)
