This role is for a mid/senior-level Regional Sales Manager working for the Service Business Unit of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and reporting to the APAC Head of Sales. Regional Service Sales Manager
The Regional Service Sales Manager is responsible for all service sales related activities in the assigned territory. This includes managing and developing customer relationships and opportunities, driving market strategy, preparing offers, forecasting sales, negotiating large long-term contracts (including drafting), and supporting the development of aftermarket sales products and solutions.
This role will focus heavily on negotiating complex large-scale service contracts from lead management, bidding, and through contract signature.
A strong candidate must be very experienced with contract drafting and commercial negotiations, and able to work closely with our regional organization to prepare, negotiate, and close opportunities. Legal experience/exposure is highly recommended.
This is a regional role based in Singapore, joining a very diverse of individuals with responsibility for projects across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Significant travel is required.
Job Profile
- College degree in engineering, law, or other similar background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in negotiating complex and large volume (>10M EUR) contracts
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the energy industry, service business preferred
- Fluent of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of contractual setups and legal agreements
- Ability to analyse and understand technical issues and learn general industry technical details.
- Excellent communicator able to develop/maintain customer relationships with ease.
- Strong communication skills, and able to clearly balance customer needs with corporate requirements and processes.
- Able to travel frequently (around 50% of the time) with flexible work hours
Job Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the services contract sales during the sales phase
- Manages sales process, coordinates and negotiate contracts and/or proposals in cooperation with proposal team, internal functions, other involved professionals and management
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contract drafting when required
- Plans sales volumes and potentials of customers in the assigned region
- Regular provision of information for forecasts and planning via Salesforce
- Analyses specific market conditions and builds a sound market related network of stakeholders
