Project Customs Administrator

Supports the LPM and conducts and coordinates customs activities in projects, in order to contribute to the success of the project by accurate and on schedule customer supply. Responsibility:
Guarantee a clear definition of customs requirements for the project. Ensure the compliance with any required documentation for import / export management Ensure that the projects stay compliant with the Export Control, Customs and Customs valuation regulations throughout our international supply chain for sourcing and CAPEX invests Monitor potential customs optimization defined during the SBA phase and the potential financial risks related to SGRE contract obligations. Monitor the customs budget EAC and the Risks and Opportunities data related to customs budget reported into SAPP Selection of Customs Broker for all the Project execution management ensuring that the selected customs broker is validated by SGRE Business Partner Compliance Tool Ensure that the selected customs broker will follow SGRE ECC Policies
Support to the PM for elaborating the Project Management Plan, particularly Logistics Management Plan Prepare Project Partner Check list in order to establish the best customs optimization strategies and to work in advance any export control requirement Issuance of CCL (Customs Check List): containing all instructions for issuance of documents to be used for Customs clearance export / import , such as: GAIs, Transport documents and other documents that needs to be presented at customs due to goods nature (chemical, electrical etc.), Export licenses and certificates to reduce the import duties Apply for customs authorizations to Customs Authorities to optimize import duties for the project Support to Customer on duties exemptions throughout the project Hiring of Customs Broker and validation through Business Partner Compliance (BPC) Tool. Agreement with customs broker on a Standard Operating Procedure ( SOP) for the overall project Review and validation of initial set of documentation to be issued by each function and validate that Customs Check List’s instructions are understood and followed Keep export/ import declaration record Provide monthly Updates of customs budgets (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities figures on SAPP and potential impacts on PTL Work with APAC LPM to manage local logistics activities. Other assigned jobs by the manager
Required Knowledge / Experience
Degree in relevant field. Minimum 5 years experience in customs and customs compliance Knowledge in logistics, project management methods and customs in Korea. Excellent IT skills including MS Office/Sharepoint Experience in wind industry is desirable Excellent communication skills in English is essential, both verbally and written.
