Service SE&A Region (SE R SE&A) is the business organization that provides certain after-sales services in the Operation and Maintenance Wind Industry mainly for the Siemens Gamesa RE (SGRE) Customers, and others, within the region known as SE&A.
  • In Europe: Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Greece
  • In the Middle East: Jordan.
  • And all countries in Africa.
The sales engineer is expected to maintain and expand the relationships with customers and will be responsible for achieving service sales quota and assigned area objectives.
The focus is to ensure the right balance between closing deals to reach growth targets and at the same time establish long-lasting relationships with key customers. The Sales Engineer will represent the entire range of company services business segments while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by SGRE.
For all the segments (LTPs, Renewals, Aftermarket, multitech), the sales engineer will have the full ownership of the sales function within a context of preserving or creating a close, trust and fruitful relationship with the Customer. The activities will start from Opportunity identification (Renewals) or origination (Aftermarket), Offer preparations (i.e. New Units LTPs Auctions or Customer Tenders), offer and rest of commercial terms clarifications and alignment with Customer, internal process execution, Contract negotiation, and final signature and activation.

How to contribute to our vision
  • Full ownership of the sales function, for all the segments (LTPs, Renewals, Aftermarket, multitech), within a context of preserving or creating a close, trust and fruitful relationship with the Customer.   • Identify and develop relationship with customers. Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities for SGRE’s aftersales products.

    • Modifications and upgrades
    • Other advanced services (large/minor corrective, refurbishing, SCADA, training)
  • Lead and deliver significant growth in sales and initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the Company.
  • Understand and utilize knowledge of the wind industry competitive landscape, as well as network with industry professionals and personal contacts to strategically and effectively pursue sales opportunities.
  • Manage external and internal (field operations department in particular) clients relationship , developing & strengthening client loyalty by providing quality proposals & services, advise, support (commercial, technical, operative and administrative) and information that address client objectives.
  • Work with other departments to enhance project value and profitability for both SGRE and the customer.
  • Propose new ways of acting based on creative approaches, knowledge and the pursuit of excellence.
  • Liaise with various departments and colleagues to drive projects and sales transactions to completion/closing. Establish profitable and sustainable relationships with all the SGRE´s Stakeholders.
  • Track and understand relevant energy policy issues both national and regional.
  • Carry out the representation of the company before official organisms and bodies, regarding performance or geographical scope.
  • Maintain projects metrics/measurements (KPIs) to ensure optimum efficiency and quality and develop a reporting process to utilize the metrics to drive operational improvements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
What you need to make a difference
  • Preferably an Engineering degree (Industrial, etc.),
  • Previous experience is not required
