Field Inspection Quality Advisor
A Snapshot of Your Day
A Service quality technician monitors and evaluates the performance of service tasks on SGRE operated wind farms. The scope includes review of required standards, auditing to verify performance to the standards, and implementation of corrective actions for any issues found. This role requires up to 75% travel!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Audit service work methods and documentation to verify they meet SGRE standards. This will include product quality inspections (PQI) and maintenance quality inspections (MQI).
- Schedule meetings with the site manager and operations management to discuss the findings at project sites. Report and assist in any meetings with main office personnel and management. Interpret and implement quality assurance processes with relevant site personnel.
- Record, document, and follow-up non-conformance occurrences. Follow up on effectiveness of containment and corrective actions. Provide support to the investigation of the nonconformance. (pictures, measurements, documents, etc.) Verify the effectiveness of the implemented solution
- Review service records and other documents for accuracy and compliance to SGRE specifications. Ensure that quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Read and interpret work orders, inspection manuals, meters, and engineering diagrams, drawings and schematics to determine inspection and test procedures
What You Bring
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years' experience in the Wind/Energy Industry preferred.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, team oriented and able to -pass training requirements
- Proficient in MS Office and ability to create reports. Must know and be able to use a computer and iPad. Familiarity with calibrated tooling.
- Strong Mechanical and Electrical inspection experience preferred and ability to identify non conformances
- Availability to work in difficult and inclement weather conditions. Physical constraints to include lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and climbing at heights greater than 180 feet. Available to work on holidays, night shifts or long hours. Up to 75% travel.

This role may be based in various locations across the United States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $46,000 to $75,000 annually.
