Are you a dedicated and driven individual, who has a background as a Lean Specialist?
We are now looking for a Senior Lean specialist, who can drive and support all Lean activities in the area of responsibility, as well as deploy Lean standards and respective documentation.
As a Senior Lean Specialist you will focus on production trimming, value-creating processes and improvement of existing routines and procedures. You will propose new Lean projects, evaluate costs/benefits and oversee its´roll out
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to
- Delivering the site’s Lean strategy in their area of responsibility, with the aim of embedding a culture of continuous improvement
- Continual analysis of site processes and losses to identify and drive to completion improvement opportunities
- Leading Kaizen / Continuous Improvement projects / Root Cause Analysis sessions/5S events, simultaneously coaching and developing participants- driving these using Project and Change Management
- Training of key Lean / continuous improvement tools -5S, Value Stream Mapping, formal problem-solving methodology, root cause analysis, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) and TAKT
- Supporting the overall site Idea Management process (Top Ideas, Just Fix It, Hype), working across functions to ensure the process runs effectively
- Facilitation of meetings, workshops and coaching of change processes and activities within defined areas of responsibilities
- Evaluation of improvement initiative benefits and costs, reporting on this to stakeholders
- Organizing and leading "Best Practice Sharing" sessions (internal and external)
- Upkeep and development of balanced scorecard KPIs, liaising with stakeholders in each operational area
- Support the SGRE Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) program
What you need to make a difference

- An ability to implement change, working with a variety of different stakeholders
- A self-motivated starter finisher. Someone who can see through initiatives
- Demonstrable track record of delivering process step change initiatives and projects
- Strong communication skills. Professionals who are able communicate confidently to a wide array of stakeholders, tailoring messages to respective audiences
- Ability and experience utilizing structured problem-solving methodology -A3, 5Whys and DMAIC ( Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control)
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical information in diagrammatical and statistical form, utilizing MS Office tools
