Analyzes and develops the elements of Procurement and/or Logistics processes, in order to achieve and implement highly efficient Procurement/Logistics standards within (an) assigned organization unit(s).
Responsibilities:
As focal point, of country logistics and procurement dpt., coordinate with stakeholders, to handle logistics and procurement works timely under low cost, and compliance fulfillment. Several roles played by this position.
Role of import/export and logistics:
  • Manage/handle the logistics process operation to comply with all related laws, regulations and policies from the destination and departure Customs under ECC dpt., and with guidance of regional SPS dpt.
  • Arrange the shipment with nominated forwarders per incoterms of trading. and coordinate the customs clearance operation for inbound and outbound shipments for country entities.
  • Advance transportation PR/PO release in system, confirm final logistics cost per quotation and arrange payment to forwarder in time.
  • Deal with difference declare type, i.e. Normal trading, repairing, temporary import/export...
  • Coordinate the Import/export license renew and application. Apply relevant document of import /export permits, i.e. DUAL USE, CCC, DGM to ensure all cargo can be clearance smoothly.
  • Classify for customs HS code and declare elements confirmation
  • Review all chemical cargo inspection record timely to ensure all chemical cargo can be imported/exported smoothly.
  • Tracking import/export shipments status and information record to the related people on time.
  • Analyse and optimize logistics lead time and cost.
  • Experience of using WeBoc system.
Roles of Procurement:
  • Be the local focal point of region procurement team, be the facilitator and support to collect the region procurement requirement and reflect to region procurement team in advance, leaving reasonable time for sourcing;
  • Apply to the company purchasing & awarding procedure and compliance requirement when execute procurement related work;
  • Responsible for minor purchase that PVO is less than 80K Euro for local country;
  • Obtain savings of 5% or above for the above purchasing and report to region procurement team on monthly basis;
  • Support region procurement team for initial sourcing purchasing activity more than 80K Euro;
  • Support region procurement team for other related procurement issues relate to the country;
  • Any other assignment given
Qualifications/skills Required :
  • Hold bachelor’s degree or above with supply chain/logistics, or relevant major.
  • Hands on experience of Import/export on machinery industrial field, or relevant, with management experience on import/export; and/or logistics;
  • Familiar with the policy from customs. Full experience and knowledge of international shipping terms and procedure. Familiar with Chemical inspection and export procedure. Experience for different declare type and import/export permit.
  • Purchasing working experience is a plus.
  • SAP operation experience is needed.
  • Strong communication capabilities, in English.
  • Proactive manner; and team work; strong ownership.8. This position requires Domestic travel
