Your responsibilities will include:
  • Own the strategic agenda and planning process for Service in close alignment with senior management across Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy
  • Propose innovative ideas for disruptive business models and evaluate strategic options
  • Make recommendations for the development of new competitive Service products and solutions
  • Translate strategic capability gaps into R&D and resource plans, in close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Service
  • Manage M&A/strategic partnership process, including target selection, value creation and integration scenarios, and initial target due diligence and evaluation
  • Initiate portfolio of strategic initiatives, define and implement strategic roadmap, and drive decision-making
  • Ensure that Service business plans support the strategy and generate maximum impact
  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor for Service and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy senior management
What you need to make a difference:
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
  • You to hold a master’s degree with excellent academic records in Economics, Business Administration or similar, advanced graduate degree preferred
  • You have proven experience as an associate/consultant in management consultancy or extensive experience in strategy, business development functions from an international corporation, financial investor environment
  • Work experience related to existing and emerging energy industries and the following topics is an advantage: Operation & maintenance, renewable hybrid solutions, asset operations, aftermarket solutions and digitalization
  • Proven track record of intellectual leadership roles with high exposure to senior management
  • Ability to generate innovative and competitive ideas and structure high-impact growth and cross-functional transformation projects
  • Proven track record of initiating projects including all dimensions of M&A and strategic partnerships
  • Ability to take ownership, to deal with ambiguity and to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, while working under pressure and on sensitive topics
  • Highly motivated individual with credible and confident communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills addressing all levels of seniority
  • Proven network of industry-relevant contacts
  • Fluency in English, both orally and in writing
