How to contribute to our vision

As our new SCADA Automation Engineer your main scope will be successful design and execution of customer project based SCADA Systems and Automation solutions in Onshore Windfarms in the NE&ME regional Engineering, further specified into:
  • Design, configuration and operational implementation and testing of the SCADA and the PLC Equipment of the Wind park SCADA Systems.
  • Conduct SCADA, Automation and PLC field tests on onshore projects on Grid Interface, Wild Life Protection System, Fire Fighting System, SCADA and Wind Turbine Controller System, Aviation Lights Systems, etc... including planning and reporting.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of Automation Applications.
  • Responsible to provide Tests Protocol and documentation on SCADA and Automation Solutions for project.
  • Main interface to clients Automation and SCADA specialists.
  • Provide SCADA, Automation Engineering project support.
  • Interface between markets and R&D/PLM, e.g. defining requirement specifications for SCADA and Automation System.
  • Develop and Support PLC and/or Codesys Solution for Grid Code Compliance requirements in several markets.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either Automation-, Electronic-, IT- and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • You have a strong SCADA and Automation Engineering background with more than 5 years of experience working with SCADA Systems in Power plants, preferably in the wind industry.
  • You have experience in programming and implementation on TIA Portal V15 and Simatic S7 PLC Line, Codesys and PLC Development or IEC 61131 Ladder in the Energy industry.
  • Strong Knowledge on SCADA Software, Database Management and SQL/Oracle/Others DB System.
  • You possess extensive knowledge on, and capability to work with, programming and troubleshooting on the following communication protocols: OPC-UA, OPC XML DA, IEC101, IEC104, Modbus, DNP3.0 and IEC6185.
  • As a person your are self-driven, extrovert, analytical and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks.
  • At the same time you are good at networking, and you possess excellent communication skills.
  • You are open to interact with customers and external stakeholders.
  • You are motivated by working in a strong technical, customer-oriented and intercultural environment and ideally you possess experience working in a complex matrix organization.
  • You are fluent both in reading and writing in English. German/Spanish/Danish is a plus.
