How to contribute to our vision
- Plan and execute transports of oversized wind turbine components, including related groupage cargo and containers by sea and road freight from production plants and ports to sites in the NE&ME region
- Coordinate return flow of transport and lifting equipment in cooperation with local site management and internal Material Management Team
- Handle claims and variation orders with forwarders and internal stakeholders
- Various ad hoc tasks such as creation of shipping plans, ordering of transport and lifting equipment for all main components, supervision of loading and unloading activities in ports and on sites, creation of transport budget and coordination of all transport activities related to the project
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- You most likely but not necessarily have a freight forwarding education combined with experience in the area of project logistics and/or oversized transportation and in outbound logistics.
- You possess upper intermediate English skills both spoken and in writing. Any other language would be a plus.
- It is an advantage to have experience in vessel management and the handling of international heavy load transports.
- Project Management experience would be preferred.
- It is an advantage to be familiar with contract and claim management.
- You are proactive and you are able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks, while you thrive in an international environment.
- You are a dedicated team player.
- You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office; Good knowledge of SAP would be appreciated but it is not mandatory.
- You should expect up to 40 travelling days per year in this position (NE&ME region).
