How to contribute to our vision
As a Financial Analyst in the regional Functions Performance Management (FPM) team, you are the Commercial Business Partner to the regional support functions. Your tasks and responsibilities as Financial Analyst include:
  • Consolidation of regional financials in standardized business reports to analyse and control the cost structure of regional support functions
  • Planning and calculation of annual budgets for assigned organizational unit/s within the Region
  • Controlling and evaluation of actual vs budget reports, and commenting on respective performance reporting and forecasts
  • Development of mitigation strategies to achieve regional financial targets and presentation to senior management
  • Implementation of agreed measures with regional stakeholders
  • Representation of team as business partner towards regional support functions to jointly review, maintain and improve the cost base within region
  • Ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations
  • Coherence with superior Controlling standards, policies, and procedures, adopts respective processes.
As a Financial Analyst you may also contribute to improvement projects in form of optimization projects, process descriptions and improvements, and/or system development.
What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in one of the disciplines of Economics: International Business, Controlling, Accounting, Auditing, Finance or similar.
  • You gained min. 3 years of experience in Accounting, Project Management or Controlling from a medium/ large international organization
  • You bring a high level of curiosity, and motivation to learn and contribute to business results
  • You have a high commercial acumen, and a good understanding for diverse commercial business topics, with an emphasis on financial planning, cost center controlling and reporting.
  • You thrive in working with systems such as Microsoft Office Excel, and ideally Power BI. If you are an expert in SAP4HANA and Analysis for Office it is even better.
  • You enjoy having English as your work-related language
  • You are a motivated team player, who is proactive, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills.
  • You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders.
  • You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment. Furthermore, you have an open-minded approach to people and changing/advancing work environments.
  • You have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
