Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for coordination of technical case management within plant. He/she will support the team by demonstrating skills /capabilities development, process definition, and internal department communication. Additionally, will coordinate with other regional engineer groups in matters associated with handling of main WTG components during the construction phase of project management.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develops mechanical components.
  • Plans, calculates, designs, develops, tests, and modifies experimental and/or operational mechanical concepts or subsystems.
  • Tests mechanical components.
  • Identifies and selects components, materials, parts and semi-products appropriate for mechanical system design.
  • Creates mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate mechanical design concepts.
  • Calculates and creates final layout including documentation and specification for parts, assemblies, or finished products.
  • Maintains technical product files.
  • Analyzes existing development procedures and suggests improvements.
  • Implements or tests design solutions.
  • Upgrades the design of existing devices by adding mechanical elements.
  • Analyzes localization requirements and designs/adapts products and solutions accordingly.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in computer skills (including AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication skills.
