We are looking for a proactive and skilled Service Operations Manager to join our Onshore Operations team in Finland. If you have longed for working at forefront of wind energy field, this is an exciting next step on your career path.
How to contribute to our vision

As a Service Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing a number of new sites in cooperation with your team consisting of approximately 20 technicians and lead technicians.
You will ideally be based at the SGRE office in Espoo, but other locations in Finland is also a possibility. Some travel to site is necessary regardless of location.
In particular your tasks will be:
  • Stakeholder management: Responsible for communicating with all your customers on operational matters.
  • Onsite operations management: Leading and developing your teams on site consisting of technicians and lead technicians.
  • Responsible for the P&L and financial KPIs in cooperation with the commercial project manager
  • Responsible for safety and quality on all service operations in your area
  • Ensure continuous improvement and act as a point of escalation for technical challenges

Leadership experience, ideally with technicians, is key for this position.
The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Engineering, Management of Technology, Production Management or has in other ways achieved strong experience and skills with Operations management of heavy industry operations or service management.
Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
As you will be in contact with local technicians, and managing contracts in both English and Finnish, it is required to speak and understand Finnish.
